Mabel M Bartley, 82, of Parker RD 1 (Dutch Hill) died at 6:35 am Friday, May 9, 1986 at her residence, following a long illness.

Born March 2, 1904 in Perry Township, she ws a daughter of the late Edward M and Viette Crispen Bowser.

On August 21, 1929 she married Wyatt E (Cudge) Bartley, who survives.

Mrs. Bartley was a graduate of Clarion State Normal School and taught at the West Freedom and Dutch HIll elementary schools from 1922-28.

She was a member of the Mt Calvary Lutheran Church, Dutch HIll and she was a member of the Over-The-Hill Citizen's Band Radio Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Norma) Betty of Prospect; a son, Joe A Bartley of Parker RD 2; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; Earl C (Pete) Bowser of Parker RD 2, S. C. (Dutch) Bowser of Parker RD 1 and Wynan Bowser of Birmingham, Alabama and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a grandsons.

Funeral services were held at 11 am Monday in the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Parker, with Rev. Harold Jacobson, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church, Clarion, assisted by Rev. Gerald Kolljeski, pastor of the Parker United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment was in the Perryville Cemetery near Parker.
