Fannie L. Hanford was born on May 7, 1866 in Fowler, Clinton County, Michigan to parents James H. Hanford (of Vermont) and Mary Jane Robinson (of Michigan). She was the eldest of three children (Fannie L., Jesse S., and Jennie A.). She and her siblings were raised in Lebanon Twp., Clinton County, Michigan. thru at least 1880. Her parents had moved to Gratiot County, MIchigan during the winter of 1896.
Fannie first married William Cutler on February 4, 1886, in Chesaning, Saginaw County, Michigan. She then married for a second time to Ransom G. Antes on Dec.24, 1888 in St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan with whom she had two children (one unknown, Roy G.). Fanny then married for a third and final time to Vincent Bailey around 1905, likely in Ohio, with whom she had one known child (John C.). From 1900 to 1920, Fannie held no occupation. Fannie died on January 9, 1936 in Girard, Trumbull County, Ohio.
