Died Thursday, Jan. 31, 1991, at Riverview Medical Center, Gonzales. She was 68, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Gonzales. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, 8 a.m. to religious services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Dr. T.J. Ozbun. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. Survived by three daughters, Janice Paille, Prairieville, Margaret "Sue" Sauer and Brenda Babin, both of Gonzales; two sons, Doug Wheat, Baton Rouge, and Sidney C. Wheat, French Settlement; a sister, Marion Jackson of Jackson; and 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Sidney A. Wheat; parents, Harry and Catherine Welch Tisdale; and a son, Gerald "Doodie" Wheat.
