Local Death Record
Irving Baxter. 59, a resident of
this area all his life, died in Berea,
Town of Montgomery, Orange
county, Wednesday following a
several weeks illness. The de-
ceased was born in the Town of
Plattekill, Ulster county, on No-
vember 28, 1882,- the son of the
late William F. and Josephine
Quick Baxter. He was a member
of the Friends Church in Platte-
kill. Survivors include his wife.
Mrs. Josephine Zelt Baxter; one
son, Bernard of Berea; two broth-
ers, Charles of Milton and August-
us of Plattekill; two sisters. Mrs.
William B. Atkins of Marlborough
and Mrs. Francis Tremper of Plat-
tekill, and two grandchildren. Fu-
neral services will be held from
the Ronk Funeral Home in Wall-
kill on Saturday at 2 p. m. with
the Rev. L. C Dibble officiating.
Interment will be made in the
Friends Cemetery in Plattekill.
