Sylvia Tucker, 55, of Baytown, passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born April 7, 1955 in Baytown to her late parents, Emmitt Greenwood and Mozell Callaway and had lived in Baytown for the last 22 years after moving back from Opelousas, Louisiana.

Sylvia enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors and playing on the computer. Her greatest love was the time she was able to spend with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Tucker; daughters, Kimberly Cherry and her husband Michael, Jenny Tucker, Melissa Rusk and Amy Baker all of Baytown; step-daughters, Beth Jordan and Abbie Albin and her husband Bill all of Clinton, Missouri; brothers, Vernon Greenwood of Dayton and James Greenwood of Baytown; grandchildren, Pam and Hope Dixon, Dylan Baker, Nicholas Cherry, Savanna and Sadie Albin and Tierra and Deana Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mitch Crosby, Bobby Dixon, Robert Rangel, Gene Richey, Larry Scott and Hugh Dixon. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Lakey, Nicholas Cherry and Dylan Baker.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Navarre Funeral Home. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Don Pierson officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.
