Funeral Service Was Held at Carter Cemetery. Mrs Martha Ellen King, 75, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. J. M. Brodderick (sic) Wednesday morning June 18.
Mrs King has been a resident of Beckham county for some time having lived near Sayre for the past 7 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and had been a member for the past 50 years.
Two sons and two daughters survive Mrs King. P. J. King of Sayre, Luther King of Texas, Mrs. Bertha Brodderick of Sayre and Mrs. Hattie Pounds are the surviving members of the family.
Funeral services were held at the Carter cemetery Thursday June 19 at 2 o'clock pm with Rev. J. T. Means officiating. Interment was made in the Carter Cemetery. Litterell-Moore funeral directors in charge.

Parents were George W Mathews (son of Benjamin Matthews and Polly Shoopman) and Mary Ann Jones (daughter of Berry Jones and Elizabeth Massingill) Graves unlocated at this time.
