Mrs. Benj. Rowe Dead of Paralysis
Mrs. Louisa A. Rowe, wife of Benjamin Rowe, died at 11:30 o'clock this morning of paralysis at the Rowe home three miles east of the city. She was the mother of Mrs. Ed Collins of Harrison street, Elkhart, and of the following children, all of whom reside in Concord township: Willard, John, and Miss Francis Rowe, Mrs. Herbert Halstead, Mrs. Ceylon Stutsman, Mrs. Harland Himebaugh.
Mrs. Rowe was born May 11, 1840, and was brought to Elkhart from Ohio when she was 18 months old, by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bickel.
The funeral will be held Saturday, the friends meeting at the home at 1:30 o'clock p.m. and at the church at 2. The family request that no flowers be sent.
