Euphrates Haire was the son of Abraham Quick Haire and Mary Elizabeth Nimmo, who were married o March 12 1877 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. Euphrates was born there on June 6, 1878. He was shown as age 2 in the 1880 Census of Custer, Breckinridge County, Kentucky. He was the husband of Addie Duggins, the daughter of Charles W. Duggins and Margaret E. Dunn. He died in Grayson County, Kentucky at the age of 79 on August 24, 1957. He was buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Leitchfield. His wife Addie Duggins Haire joined him there after her death on May 23, 1962. They share the same stone.
