Mrs. Kirby Paris, 47, died at her home, East Depot Street, Friday, March 6, after a short illness of pneumonia. She was the former Rilla Catherine Matthews, daughter of the late J.T. and Georgia Anne Matthews, and a lifelong native of this county. She became affiliated with the Pleasant Hill Church in 1908 and held the membership at the time of death.
She is survived by her husband, Kirby, Mrs. Pauline Gass, a daughter; two brothers, Shelley, Marion, and Elbert, Tilene; five sisters, Mesdames, Florence Clark, Virgil Hill, Louisa Vaughn, all of this city, and Mrs. Wm. Smith and Mrs. Osie Brown, Tilene.
