Descendants of Benj. Reeve Have Reunion at McGuffey Friday

McGUFFEY, Aug. 27 - Fourty-four descendants of Benjamin Reeve, pioneer resident of Stark-co, gathered for their annual reunion at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Marling, near here, Friday. Mrs. W. H. Baldwin, of McGuffey, one of the two living daughters, presided as president at the business meeting which followed serving of the picnic dinner.

The afternoon was spent in renewing of acquaintances and in games.

The reunion for 1928 will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Windsor near Maringo, Morrow-co.

Relatives in attendance Friday were H. W. Bailey and family, E. P. Bailey and family, A. E. Windsor and children and Miss Mary Louise Primmer of Morrow-co, Rev. C. E. Winteringham and children of New Carlisle, Miss Mildred King of Bowling Green, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Baldwin and children of the Triangle, and Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Baldwin, Mr. and Mrs. Veril Baldwin and son, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey J. Ott and children, and Misses Alveretta and Gazelle Baldwin of McGuffey.

Mrs. W. H. Baldwin

McGUFFEY, Feb. 10 - Funeral of Mrs. W. H. Baldwin, 71, who died after an illness of three weeks at 11 a.m. Sunday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Godfrey Ott, wife of the ex-mayor of this community, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Methodist Episcopal church. Mrs. Baldwin had lived in McGuffey for the past 30 years. She had been prominent in civic betterment affairs. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and president of the local W.C.T.U. The Rev. J. F. Newcomb of Ada will be in charge of the funeral. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Ada.

Besides her husband and Mrs. Ott, Mrs. Baldwin is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. C. E. Wintringham of Bryan, Mrs. S. C. Sillin of Buckland, Mrs. Ralph Marling of Ada, and Mrs. J. A. Beck of Kenton; two sons, Roscoe Baldwin of Bellefontaine and Veril Baldwin of McGuffey, and 11 grandchildren.
