Charles E. Smith, 84, Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Altoona, died Sun., July 25, 2010 at Altoona Hospital. He was born in Altoona, to Michael & Eva Viola (Ebersole) Smith. He married Annabel Finkbiener on June 10, 1946, in Winchester, VA and she died Dec. 28, 1995. Survived by son, Charles E. Smith II & wife, Linda, Hollidaysburg; daughter, Sandra Ann Hebler, & husband, Joseph, Lakemont; 5 grandchildren; 7 gr. grandchildren; and special friend, Doris Hollingshead. Member, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He retired as a helper from the Blair County Courthouse Print Shop. U.S. Army, WWII veteran. Stevens Mortuary, Altoona. Interment, Blair Memorial Park.
