GILMER -- Services for Mrs. Monnie Morgan, 83, Gilmer, are pending with Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer.
Mrs. Morgan died Sunday at a Mesquite nursing home.
She was born Aug. 9, 1899, in Upshur County where she lived most of her life. She was a housewife and was a member of Gilmer Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Buford Morgan, Longview, Ray Morgan, Dallas; five daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Drake, Richardson, Avvaleen Thomas, Gilmer, Wilms Dean Stewart, Richardson, Velma Ruth Webb, Laura Frances Miller, both of Garland; three brothers, Coy Gene White, San Francisco, Doyce White, Garland, Jack W. White, Justin; four sisters, Ruth Ray, Gilmer, Cecil Atchley, Fort Worth, Frances Hail, Hallsville, Oneita McGee, Tennessee; 28 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
