Mrs. Patsy E. Casper, age 80, of Mineola, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Casper was born Feb. 18, 1930, in Hugo, Oklahoma, as a daughter of the late Veva Irene (Sifford) Stinson and Conley Aaron Stinson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, in fact could be considered an expert seamstress. She enjoyed keeping her children and grandchildren in clothes to wear. Patsy was also an avid tea pot collector.

She is survived by her husband, A.L. (Leroy) Casper of Mineola; sons, DeWayne Casper and wife Sharon of Ferris, Texas, and Larry Casper and wife Nita of Farmers Branch, Texas; a daughter, Brenda Casper and partner Patrick Sotelo of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Rober Casper of Carrollton, Texas, Crystal Fredricks of Wiley, Texas, Kendell Skuepien of Forney, Texas, and Marcus Sotelo of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren, Garrett Casper, Kayden Casper, and Bryce Fredricks; brother, Richard Stinson of Hugo, Oklahoma; sisters, Joyce Denton of Mesquite, Texas, Gaye Matula of Bedford, Texas, Robbie Williams of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Connie Hale of Edna, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Howard Stinson.

Services are set for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas, with Bro. Phillip Casper officiating. Interment will follow at Saints Rest Cemetery on County Road 538 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
