Born in Norwich, CT, Heather received her Associates Degree from Brunswick Community College and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She grew up in Chesapeake, VA, and had lived in Wilmington, NC, prior to making Aiken, SC, her home, six years ago. Heather attended Cedar Creek Church. Having grown up in Chesapeake, VA, she enjoyed spending time at the beach, where she enjoyed swimming and surfing. Heather loved spending time with and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed being a kid again at Disney World.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Kayla Marie and Kevin Allen Marshall, Aiken, SC; Chris Marshall, Aiken, SC, father of Kayla and Kevin, fiancé', Williams "Bill" Mullins, Aiken, SC; sister, Holly Bair, Chesapeake, VA; nephew and niece, Sam and Ashley Bair, aunts, Patricia Venter, Clinton, CT and Karen Wood, ME; her best friend, Tara Trotter, (Dean) and Tara's children, Ashley, Taylor and Stacey.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, May 23rd, 2010, at 3 o'clock at Cedar Creek Church, Aiken, SC, (Banks Mill Rd.) with Pastor Phillip Lee officiating.
An additional A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 25th, 2010, at 11 o'clock at Elizabeth River Baptist Church, 601 Sparrow Rd., Chesapeake, VA. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 10 o'clock until the time of service at the church.
If so desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.Cancer.org)
The family will greet friends Sunday from 2 o'clock until the time of service at the church.
