Beatrice Louise Woods, 83, of Sikeston, died at 12:03 p.m. Feb. 11, 2007, in the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born Jan. 30, 1924, in Covington, TN, to the late John Anderson and Minnie Beatrice Fuller O'Bryan, she was a former restaurant owner and operator. She had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Eagles Club and was of the Baptist belief.
On Nov. 5, 1948, in Hernando, MS, she married Ira Orville Woods who preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1998.
Also preceding her in death weres six brothers, John O'Bryan, Everett O'Bryan, Eugene O'Bryan, Lawrence O'Bryan, Buford O'Bryan and Richard O'Bryan.
She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Eugene Moriarty.
Visitation was at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services were conducted with The Rev. Delbert Bishop, pastor of Bement Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
