She was the owner/operator of Melba's Beauty Shop in Xenia, a member of Xenia United Methodist Church where she was the past organist and pianist, and a member of United Methodist Women.
Surviving is a sister: Imogene Anderson of Apple Valley, MN; 2 nieces: Linda Stephenson of Celebration, FL, Yvonne Shelton of Lawrenceville, IL; 4 nephews: Ronald Anderson of Apple Valley, MN, Ralph Mulvaney of Commerce Township, MI, Kenneth Mulvaney of Memphis, TN, David Mulvaney of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law: Oren Mulvaney & wife Lois of Lawrenceville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister (Betty), and 2 infant brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday (July 27, 2010) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be from 1 PM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
