Dr. John R. Kuhn, Sr. a Joplin dentist passed away at his home at 625 Jaccard Place from complications of heart disease. He was 89. His wife, Tinzy preceded him in 1956. His parents, Henry and Alvira Speech Kuhn, were early day Carthage residents. Funeral arrangements were cared for by Steve Parker Mortuary and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
