Ray L. Ash, 87, formerly of Vienna, died Tuesday in the Ohio Valley Health Care Center.
He was born in Doddridge County, a son of the late I. B. and Leota Fleming Ash. he was a Protestant and belong to the IBEW No. 968, Parkersburg.
He is survived by one daughter, Paula S. Huber of Parkersburg; one stepdaughter, Maryann Ciochetty of Belpre; two stepsons, Robert and Charles Williams of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thesta Garrett Ash, and his second wife, Sarah Margaret Knotts Ash.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Stergil Vincent officiating. Burial will be in the Rockland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
