Word has been received of the death Saturday in Columbus of Mrs. Lucy Acton, 82, widow of George Action. She had been ill two weeks.
Mrs. Acton, the former Lucy Denman, was a former resident of Perryton. Surviving are two sons, Ted and (George) Elmer, both of Columbus and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Columbus and burial will be made in Hanover Cemetery. The funeral cortege is expected at the cemetery at 2:30 p.m. and the casket will be opened at the grave.
(Lucy was married for a short time to Carlos Wills. She was the sister to Carlos' first wife)
