H. T. Rodgers, Retired Farmer Dies at Home.

Henry T. Rodgers, 85, retired farmer died Monday morning at his home in the Sulphur Springs community. He had been a resident of the Hot Springs area for the past 60 years and was a member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Leoma Trussell Rodgers; four sons, Rufus Dewitt, Oran, and Norval of Magnet Cove, Everett of Hot Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Lydia Tooley and Mrs. Mabel Langston of Malvern, and Mrs. Marie Lankford of Hot Springs; one brother Dan Ro(d)gers of Monticello; 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, with the pastor, Elder Jesse Shepard and Elder J.B. Nobles officating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery. Pallbeares Albert Ross, Claudie Mitchell, Raymond Johnson, Lambert Pearson, J.S. Roberts and Raymond Smoke.

Henry married 1st Ellen Para Lee Trussell, they had three children: Rufus Eugene Rodgers, Lydia V Rodgers, and Lillian Irene Rodgers .

Married 2nd Leoma Trussell. They had these children, Oran Allen, Everett A., Norval, Mabel (Langston) and Marie Ann (Lankford).

Ellen Para Lee and Leoma were sisters.
