Frank Eugene Justus was born at Munson, Geanga [Geauga] county, Ohio, December 13, 1852, and died Sunday morning, October 29, 1905, aged 52 years, 10 months and 6 days. When four years of age his parents, George and Hulda Justus, moved to Illinois and settled on a farm a half mile west of Stockton, where the deceased has since lived with the exception of two years when he reside on a farm two miles from there. At the age of seventeen he was taken with typhoid fever, from which he never fully recovered.

At the age of twenty-one he was united in marriage with Miss Louise I. Wheelock who passed to the Great Beyond in 1882, nine years after their marriage. Of this union there were one daughter and five sons born, three of whom are living, James, Bert and Charles, two sons and the daughter having died in infancy.

In 1884 he was again married to Miss Abbie Tyrrell, and of this union a son, Ray, and two daughters, Bessie and Jessie, are living; a son and a daughter having died some years ago with scarlet fever. He also leaves and aged mother, Hulda Justus, a brother Chas. T., and a sister, Mrs. B. F. Simmons, all residing in this city.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday forenoon from the Universalist church, Rev. L. W. Brigham saying words of consolation to the bereaved relatives. Burial was mad in the family lot in the Ladies Union Cemetery.
