Sherri Kae Mason, 61, of Van Buren died Thursday, July 22, 2010, in in the hospice unit of Sparks Regional Medical Center from complications related to Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
She was a real estate agent for Jimmy Bell Realty for 33 years and a member of the Crawford County, Arkansas and national boards of Realtors, served as former director, president and vice president of the Crawford County Board of Realtors, was a former member of the Van Buren Planning Commission, was honored as Realtor of the year 1984 and 1994 and was a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club of Realtors.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Zell and Gussie Arnold and Don Mason.
Funeral service was 2p.m. Saturday, July 24 at First Baptist Church in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Mizell of Kibler and Doella Smither of Van Buren; three sisters, Zelda Coleman of Kibler, Joy Arnold of Fort Smith and Meredith Lee Eckles of Fort Smith;; two brothers, Dickie Arnold of Mountainburg and Dee Arnold of Kibler; and four grandchildren, Sara Bell of Kibler, Mason and Loren Smither, both of Van BUren and Madison Mizell of Kibler.
Pallbearers werer Colby Coleman, Barry Mason, Ryan Decker, Chris Bell, Kevin Bell, David Turner and Matt Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Frank Johns, Jimmy Bell, James Coleman, Tim Clemmons, Church Clemmons, Larry Breeden, Gary Autry, J.R. Young, Joe Sirmon, Steve Jones, Mark Toothaker, Earl Robinson, Danny Hamby, Rick Kibler and Harold Hamm.
