Jessie Batson Scott, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the age of 96, at Heather House, a personal care facility in Atlanta, GA, with three generations of her family by her side.

Mrs. Scott continued to sing in the City View First Baptist Church Choir until just before her 96th birthday. Mrs. Scott was a member of City View First Baptist Church and prior to that, was a long time member of Paris Mountain Baptist Church in Greenville, and will be remembered by her family and friends as a devout Christian who loved to share her faith with others.

Mrs. Scott served actively as a proud member of Eastern Star.
