Mount Vernon, MO - Leona Jane Massey, 92, Mount Vemon, died at 10:10 am Monday at a nursing home in Mount Vemon after a long illness.
Mrs Massey was born March 31, 1901, at Izard County, Ark.
She moved to Mount Vemon from Calico Rock, Ark, about eight years ago.
She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Huey Hicks, Harrison, Ark; a daughter, Ruby Wrenfrow, Kansas City; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 am Friday at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mount Vemon. The Rev Willard Benbrook will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery, Calico Rock. Visitation will be from 9-10 am Friday at the funeral home.
