Burial – 3 June 1928 in Ellsworth Cemetery, Ellsworth, Mahoning Co. OH

Mahoning Dispatch, Fri, 8 June 1928
"Ellsworth - June 6 – The sudden death of Morris Emerson Bowman about noon last
Thursday at his home on the Salem road, 2 ½ miles south of Ellsworth, came as a
severe shock to the family as well as many friends. He was the oldest son of
Mr. and Mrs. J. Clyde Bowman and was born on the farm where he died March 19,
1910, consequently had just passed his 18th birthday. He had been at work on
the farm with his father, apparently in the best of health, and after placing a
horse in the stable and caring for it had just stepped outside the barn when
stricken with heart trouble and fell dead. When his father went to call him to
dinner his sad end was discovered. Morris Emerson was a bright popular and
energetic young man who had a host of friends who sincerely mourn his untimely
death and deeply sympathize with the bereaved family. Besides his parents he
leaves a sister, Esther, and a brother, Clyde. Largely attended funeral
services held from the home Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock were conducted by Rev.
G. E. Brown, pastor of the Ellsworth Presbyterian church. The remains were laid
to rest in the Ellsworth cemetery mausoleum."
