Carl Veston "Tobby" Burklow obituary - 2006

Carl Veston "Tobby" Burklow, 82 of Providence died Friday, July 21 in the Livingston
County Hospital in Salem.
A native of Webster County, he was a self employed businessman. He was a
member of the First Baptist Church where he served as music director and was a
deacon.
Survivors include his wife, June K. Burklow of Providence; four daughters, Karen
Baker of Providence, Cyndy Hundley of Paducah, Carla Herran of Eddyville and Lisa
Garrison of Owensboro; one sister, Naomi Hughes of Madisonville; seven
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:00 from the First Baptist Church
with Rev. Alan C. McCutchen and Rev. Jamie Broome officiating.
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery.
Townsend-Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

SALEM, Ky. — Carl V. "Toby" Burklow, 82, of Providence, Ky., died at 2:50 p.m. Friday at Livingston County Hospital in Salem.
He was born June 29, 1924, in Webster County, Ky. He was a deacon, music director and member of First Baptist Church in Providence. He was a self-employed businessman.
He is survived by his wife, June K. Burklow of Paducah, Ky.; four daughters, Karen Baker of Providence, Cyndy Hundley of Paducah, Karla Herran of Eddyville, Ky., and Lisa Garrison of Owensboro, Ky.; a sister, Naomi Hughes of Madisonville, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Alan C. McCutchen and Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Providence.
Visitation is 4 until 8 p.m. today at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence, 10 a.m. until noon Monday at the funeral home and 1 p.m. until time of service at the church.
