Union, Nov 6 - Mrs Ann Eliza McNeer, wife of Mr A A McNeer, entered into rest at her home at Greenville, this county, on Saturday afternoon last, Oct 31, 1914. She was a sufferer from heart disease and had been in ill health for months but had been going about until a few days before the end came, and to most of her friends the news of her death was a startling surprise and shock. Mrs McNeeer was a daughter of the late Andrew Lipps of Greenbrier county. She was born near Lewisburg on May 4, 1854. After being well educated in private schools, she was united in marriage to Mr McNeer on Oct 16, 1877, and the residue of her life was spent in Monroe county. For 36 years her home had been at Greenville.
