Miss Emma Carmichael, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ras Carmichael, died Monday at the
family residence near Ralston, after a protracted illness. She was about forty-three years of age and a noble Christian woman. Miss Emma was a popular young woman, loved and esteemed for her sweet, cheerful disposition, and will be missed in the home and the community. Revs. Saunders and Simmons conducted the funeral services.
