BOWMAN, Iona Passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Stratford General Hospital. Iona resided in Tavistock and was formerly of Haysville. She was born 89 years ago in Wilmot Township and was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Steinman) Jantzi. Beloved wife of the late Walton Bowman who predeceased her August 10, 1991. Loving mother of Mary Bowman of Wellesley, June and husband Lawrence McMahon of Kitchener, Lloyd and wife Joyce Bowman of Exeter, Shirley and husband Richard Kay of Tavistock, Charlene Bowman of Plattsville and Kathleen and husband John Martin of Wellesley. Sadly missed by fourteen grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Lucille and husband Harry Albrecht of Kitchener and sister-in-law of Doris Jantzi of Hensall. Iona was predeceased by her sister Irene and husband Rudy Jutzi and brothers Ralph and wife Violet Jantzi and Orval Jantzi. Iona was a member at Calvary Conservative Mennonite Church, Elmira. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite Church.
