Louis Charles Agee, 70, a native and resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, July 15, 2010.
He was a devoted deacon and member of New Era Missionary Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired U. S. Postal Service Manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma L. Clemons and William "Bubba" Agee.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Barbara Ann Agee; two children, Louis C. (Angel) Agee II and Jason (Marlene) Agee; step-daughter, Sonya (George) Smith; two stepsons, Melvin (Bernadette) McNeil and James (LaJill) McNeil; nine grandchildren; step-father, Frank Clemons Sr.; step-mother, Cherry Agee; one sister, four brothers, two uncles, one aunt, two nieces, five nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Williams Schulte, Dr. Henry Davis, Dr. D. Clarkson, Dr. G. Cotter and Covenant Hospice.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24 at New Era Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.

Louis Charles Agee, age 70, a native and resident of Fairhope, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 15th 2010. Louis was a devoted deacon and member of New Era Missionary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired U. S. Postal Service Manager. Mr. Agree was preceded in death by his Parents, Mrs. Emma L. Clemons and Mr. William "Bubba" Agee. He leaves to cherish his memorable moments his wife of 29 years, Barbara Ann Agee, two children, Louis C. (Angel) Agee, II, Jason (Marlene) Agee, one stepdaughter, Sonya (George) Smith, two stepsons, Melvin (Bernadette) McNeil, James (LaJill) McNeil, 9 grandchildren, stepfather, Dea. Frank Clemons, Sr., stepmother, Cherry Agee, one sister, four brothers, two uncles, one aunt, two nieces, five nephews, And a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from New Era Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday, July 24, 2010, at 11:00am. Viewing will be at the church from 10:00am until service time.
