She was born on August 2, 1920 in Camden Township. She married Robert Unger of Henrietta who preceded her in death and they moved to Anaheim, California in 1953. She was a real estate broker for many years and was an active member of her church and community throughout her life.
She is survived by a daughter Roberta Hawks, of Yorba Linda, CA, sons, Larry (Katherine) Unger, of Orlando, FL, and Douglas (Kari) Unger, of Yorba Linda, CA, a sister Marjorie Sayger, of Tucson, AZ, 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews including Judy Hoffman and Gene Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bessie Rowell and Harley Searles, sisters Eva and Dorothy Rogers.
Family and friends are invited to the graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 pm at the Camden Cemetery on US 20 east of Kipton. Following the service, there will be an informal gathering at Brewsters, located at the Oberlin Inn.
