Elbert Lloyd Hodges, a retired member of Ironworkers Local 623 and resident and native of Walker, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at his home. He was 76 and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Alice P. Hodges; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael, Courtney, Glen and Warren and Gemma Hodges; a sister and brother-in-law, Velton Hodges and John H. Bergeron; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Claude Jr. and Willie Mae Peak; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James L. and Dee Hodges, and Ivy and Alma St. John Hodges; three grandsons, Justin Jones and Eddie and Michael Hodges.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Maydee Hodges; and two brothers, Stanley and Vann Hodges.

Arrangements by Renaissance Services Inc., 12552 Airline Highway, Gonzales. Interment in Minton Cemetery, Walker.
