Daniel Edward Pollard, age 21, of Rowlett, TX, passed away February 17, 2008, along with his little buddy Kahlua, a Pit Bull. He was born on June 9, 1986, in Dallas, TX, and was a 2004 graduate of Rockwall High School. Daniel was a member of Lake Pointe Church, and was currently attending the Art Institute of Dallas. He is survived by his parents: Larry & Phyllis (Porter) Pollard of Rowlett, TX; sister: Rachel McIntire of Rowlett, TX; brother: Allen Pollard of Rowlett, TX; grandfather: Philip Porter of Rowlett, TX; grandmother: Charmayne Pollard of Dallas, TX; aunts and uncles: Bill Porter of Houston, TX, Ruth & John Miller of N. Cape May, NJ, Philip & Cynthia Porter of Houston, TX, Sherry Porter of Houston, TX, Shirley Terry of Garland, TX, Carolyn Poehler of Plano, TX, and Gary Pollard of Dallas, TX; cousins: Jessica, Jordan, Courtney, Mitchell, Piper, Leann, Trevor, Rebekah, Johnny, and Abigail. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandmother: Carolyn Porter; and grandfather: Claude Pollard.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at Lake Pointe Church, Main Auditorium,701 E. I-30, Rockwall, TX with Pastor Bubba Thurman officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
