Craig, 58, of Owosso, passed away Tuesday as the result of an automobile accident.

The memorial service was held Saturday, July 24th, at the First Congregational Church of Owosso with Rev. James Eaton officiating.

Craig was born to Norman and Rosalyn Henry. He graduated from Owosso High School, class of 1970. Craig graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1974 from Michigan State University, Eli Broad School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Craig began his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant for Arthur Andersen, Public Accounting Firm, Detriot's office. He was the senior accountant for such clients as Consumer's Energy and Dow Chemical. In 1979 he joined his father Norman in business to assist in the operation and management of Valley Lumber and Norm Henry Shoes. In 1994 he joined the management consulting firm of George S. May International of Chicago where he was employed as a Senior Project Manager. In 1999 Craig began his own business, Quantum Financial, specializing in consulting and business turnarounds, servicing clients throughout the Midwest and Eastern seaboard. Craig was widely respected by his clients, all who will miss his financial expertise and keen sense of business.

Craig was a member of the National Association of Accountants, MSU Alumni Association, Owosso Rotary Club, member of the Owosso Country Club, former Board Member of the Shiawassee YMCA and league chairman of YMCA/Rotary youth soccer league. Craig was a member of First Congregational Church, having served faithfully as a deacon. He loved and enjoyed many aspects of life, skiing out west and at Boyne Mountain, boating and water skiing at the family's cottage on Lake Fenton, playing tennis, MSU sports and traveling with his family.

Craig was a courageous man who after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1994 continued to fight the good fight, never giving into his illness, working diligently for his clients and providing for his family.

Craig is lovingly survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah; his five children, Ryan (Kelly) Henry of East Lansing, MI, Jeffrey Henry of Chicago, IL, Kyle Henry of Royal Oak, MI, Diana Henry of East Lansing, MI, and Jenna Henry, who will be a junior at Owosso High School; grandson, Caleb; and granddaughter, Abigail of East Lansing. He is also survived by his mother, Rosalyn Henry of Owosso; his two sisters, Carla (John) Merrill and Cheryl (John) Downing; brother, Chris (Linda) Henry; sisters-in-law, Jeaneen (Joe) Stephansky, Karyl (Edward) Zurick; brother-in-law, Nicholas Casper; nephews, Michael and Jonathon Selleck, Emilio (Karri) Porco, Matthew (Kim) Porco; and nieces, Joanna (Barrett) McCree and Paige Merrill.

He was predeceased by his father, Norman Henry; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Craig was aN inspiration to his many professional clients and friends, but mostly to his children and wife Deborah. He never complained about his illness, or disability, instead he referred to his affliction with Multiple Sclerosis as an "ability", to strive and work even harder and to never give up in the face of adversity.

In honor of Craig, memorials may be made to an educational fund for Craig's youngest daughter Jenna, and to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Michigan Chapter.

We loved you with the breath, smiles, and the tears of all of our lives, and you will be forever missed. Rest well now dear Dad, you fought the good fight, and now your struggle is over. Your legacy will remain in the strength and wisdom which you have instilled in your precious family and wide circle of friends. "Come to me, all of who are tired from carrying your heavy loads, and he will give you rest" - Matthew 11:28

Funeral Services will be announced by Nelson-House Funeral Home.
