Myrtie A. Brown died at Tranquility nursing home in Randolph Aug. 10. Funeral services were held at Day's Funeral home last Saturday. Rev. Saum officiated and burial was in East Randolph cemetery.
She was born in 1877 in Sharon the daughter of Augustus and Lora Finney. She had lived here about 30 years.
She is survived by her husband Harry who has been confined to the Vermont State hospital for several weeks, and three nieces and a nephew.
Those attending the funeral from away were nieces, Mrs. Pansy Washburn, Hazel Smith of Rockland, Mass., and Mrs. Annie Anderson of East Boston, Mass., a nephew, Sidney Finney of Sharon; Isabel Parker of Boston, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Newall of Plainfield and Mr. and Mrs. James Sprague of Barre."
