Paul I. Bruce
Paul I. Bruce, 74, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 10:50
p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2000.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at
the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
He is survived by his wife, Nola Pitre Bruce; two sons, Al and Ray Bruce;
one daughter-in-law, Jackie Bruce; one daughter, June Bruce; two
brothers, Irvin and Norman Bruce; and two grandchildren, Robbie and
Ross Bruce.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Jane Lefort
Bruce; and four brothers, Vital, Hypolite, Woodrow and Roy Bruce.
He was a retired boat captain, a U.S. Army World War II veteran
and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
