Willima Adams
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Church in Galliano for Willima "Lilly" Cheramie Adams, 72, a native of Cut Off and resident of Galliano, who died at 10:40 p.m. Feb. 22, 2001.
Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She was the wife of Ellis Adams; mother of Billy, Randy and Jason Adams; and sister of Mary Ann Williams and Ethel Mae Orgeron. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Zoe Cheramie Cheramie; brother, Filton Cheramie; and sister, Doris C. Kiff.
She was Catholic.
Samart Funeral Home and Crematorium of Cut Off was in charge of the arrangements.
