OLLA - Services for Rose Marie Cassels Ganey will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Rosefield Baptist Church, Olla, with the Revs. John Norwood and Joel Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Rosefield Cemetery under direction of Riser, Olla. Ganey, 61,of Olla died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was employed as a seamstress at Holloway Sports Wear in Olla and was a member of Straight Road Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Ira Holmes Cassels; two brothers, Alfred Cassels and Ronald Cassels; one sister, Anita Harrell; and one grandson, Dalton Meredith. Survivors include three sons, Don McGee of Atlanta, Gerald McGee of Raceland and Kenneth McGee of Buford, Ga.; three daughters, Deborah Girod of Olla, and Sandra Nacquin and Rebecca Ganey Reed, both of Mamou; one brother, J.L. Cassels of Jena; three sisters, Brenda Taylor, Janet Bratton and Theresa Jameson, all of Olla; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. today and from 8-11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until time of services in the church.
