Mrs. Shula Armstrong Bennett, 96, of Vaiden died of heart failure Monday, March 27, 2000, at the Conva-Rest Nursing Home in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Bennett was a retired school teacher having taught school for 44 years.
She was a member of the Vaiden United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bennett was the widow of the late Percy A. Bennett.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at Vaiden Methodist Church with burial in the Vaiden Cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by one step-son, Dr. Percy A. Bennett Jr. of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Charles Ellis, James Alford, George Tuberville, Tommy Caldwell, Kempe Hodges and Ken McDougal.
Lee Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
