Ella's life began in Chicago, Illinois where she was a graduate of Austin High School. Ella was united in marriage on June 11, 1949 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicago. She was a member of the Sister Lakes Community Church in Dowagiac, Michigan. Ella was a crafter and loved to play the piano and sing. She was a great cook and baker. Ella liked to enter sweepstakes and enjoyed her flower gardens. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her husband of 59 years, her two children, four grandchildren and one great grandson.
