Martha "Becky" Sisk House

Marion, N.C. - Martha "Becky" House, 80, of Marion went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Burke Hospice and Palliative Care in Valdese, N.C.
She was born Aug. 7, 1929 in McDowell County to the late Rev. Frank P. Sisk and Alice Biggerstaff Sisk.
Mrs. House was a member of Drucilla Independent Church.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are her husband, William House of the home; two daughters, Sandra Coley, husband John, of Marion, Cari Gardner, husband Michael, of Marion; one brother, Frank Sisk, wife Peggy, of Nebo; three grandchildren, Cris Coley, Sean Coley and Corey Stamper; three great-grandchildren, Kim Coley, Jordan Coley and Chase Coley; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends, Bruce Poteat, wife Carolyn, of Cleveland, Tenn., Hoyt Greene, wife Linda, of North Little Rock, Ark. and Wayne Robinson, wife Fran, of Hickory; and all her church family.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, July 21, 2010 at Drucilla Independent Church in Nebo, with Pastor Rick Bishop officiating.
Burial will follow in the Drucilla Independent Church cemetery.
