Mrs. Stella Zakrzewski

March 20, 1893 – February 27, 1967



Mrs. Stella Zakrzewski, 73, of 1521 W Fisher Street, died at 4am Monday in St Joseph's Hospital after a five-month illness.



She was born March 20, 1893, in South Bend. She was married August 17, 1915, in South Bend, to Stanley Zakrzewski, who died in 1961. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Irene Plonka of South Bend; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, John Sosnowski of South Bend; and a sister, Mrs. Verna Dankowski of South bend.



Friends may call after 7pm Tuesday at the St Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9am Thursday in St Casimir's Church, Rev. George Szymanowski, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.



She was a member of St Ann's Society and the Ladies Civic Club, both of the church. The rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Tuesday and at 8pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
