He was born May 10, 1927, in Cash, Texas, the son of Walcy Ward and Mattie Francis (Matthews) Rozell.
He was the former owner and operator of Rozell Appliance Service for 20 years in Fayetteville. His motto was, "if it was made, it can be repaired."
He loved people and always sought to make them smile. He always said, "it's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice." He enjoyed family, fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rogers. He loved the Lord and served as an ordained elder, deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and teacher for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jaqueline Ruth (Cornelison) Rozell; his parents; two brothers; and five sisters.
He is survived by his son, Phillip Rozell (and his wife, Dana) of West Fork, Arkansas; step-son, Jeffrey Griffin (and wife, Mary) of Nolensville, Tennessee; step-daughter, Jeannine Brazzeal (and husband, Jeff) of Bentonville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Roger Rozell, Stephanie Pennington, Eli Holland, Aftin Blake, Arden Baxter, and Josh Griffin; numerous great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2023 with the Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers with Dr. Valarie Bell officiating.
Intombment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
