Elvira (Puddles) Novian Langehennig, 83, of Alvin, Texas left this earth on July 17th, 2010 to join her loving husband, Lewis Langehennig, who proceeded her in death on June 16th, 2001. They were married on August 28th, 1946. She was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.

Puddles was born July 19th, 1926 in Fredericksburg to Adolph and Anna (Filter) Novian. She was the youngest of five children and was proceeded in death by brothers, Alonzo, Alfons (Punch), and Rudy Novian. She is survived by her sister, Anita Jentry, of Freeport, Texas.

She is survived by two daughters and spouses: Linda and Barry Koonce of Yorktown, Texas and Connie and Dwight Pugh of Alvin, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Brian Koonce, Lance (Christie) Koonce, and Miles (Rachael) Koonce of Refugio, Texas, Robert Wagner of Friendswood, Texas, Jenny (Jason) McPeak and Jill Pugh of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and her devoted friend and companion Grannie ""Pat"" Pugh of League City, Texas.

In 1954, Puddles and Lewis moved from Fredericksburg to Aransas Pass, Texas. She operated her own floral business until 1965 when they moved to Portland, Texas. She continued in the floral industry until 1973 when she retired.

In 1978, she and her husband returned to Fredericksburg and became active in volunteer activities. She served as Commander of the Ladies Auxiliary of the DAV. She was also active in the American Legion.

During her lifetime she was very active in the Altar Guild of the churches she attended. An avid bowler, she enjoyed her weekly leagues and served as secretary. In 2002, she moved to Alvin, Texas and in 2006 she joined others in their battle with Alzheimer disease at Friendship Haven Rehabilitation Center in Friendswood, Texas.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons: Brian, Lance, and Miles Koonce, Robert Wagner, Logan and Tyler Koonce. Honorary pallbearers are her other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
