He became proficient in every aspect as a builder/contractor and was valued for his experitse and quality of work. Those who worked with Michael said, "he could do anything!" Eventually he branched out on his own. Early in Michael's life he discovered the outdoors. He enjoyed swimming, water skiing, but became especially passionate about motor-cross racing. Those who knew Michael described him as "outgoing"; "a kind man" with a beautiful smile that lit up any room; a strong man who was loved by many and had genuine sincerity which was demonstrated by his love for his family and his willingness to help others. Michael loved his mother and father, the family pet, Rocko, and had a special bond with his friends.
