Roper Rites Are This Afternoon
Funeral service for George W. Roper, 80, are being held this afternoon from the First Baptist church with Rev. Kenneth Marshall, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the Dalhart Cemetery under direction of the Peeples Funeral Home.
Mr. Roper died Tuesday.
Immediate survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Roper; one daughter, Mrs. W. D. Palmer, Santa Ana, Calif.; and five sons; J. T., Bill and Claude of Dalhart, Roy of Harrell, Okla., and Arthur of Sayre, Okla.
