Daughter of the late John Vernon and Sallie Mae Temple Goforth, she was the widow of Ronald Maultsby. Additionally, she was preceded in death by a son, Barry Temple Maultsby. She was survived by daughters, Betsy Jones (Hal) and Joy Hunnicutt (Jay); sons, Stephen Maultsby (Laurie) and Ashley Maultsby (Marianne); brother, John Goforth (Elizabeth); sisters, Ruby Crump (James) and Terry Cullingford; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives. His fuenral was held at Purcell United Methodist Church on June 14, 2009, with The Rev. Gerald Ramsey officiating.
