George A. Gotowka, 520 1/2 S. Kosciuszko St.. died at 6 a.m Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, after a three months illness.
Born in South Bend April 20, 1906, and had lived here all his life.
On May 30, 1927, he was married in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church to Miss Josephine Celmer, who survives.
He was an estimator for the Lowe Lumber Co., Mishawaka, for five years and formerly manager for 27 years of the Voorhees-Jontz Lumber Co. 1600 W. Ford St.
Surviving also are his father, Frank; two daughters, Mrs. Esther Jo Homeleski and Mrs. Lorraine Gorkiewicz; a sister, Miss Victoria; a brother, Stanley, and one grandson, all of South Bend.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Joseph Funeal Chapel.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Adalbert's Church with Very Rev. Msgr. Ignatius J. Gapczynski, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish Cemetery.
Mr. Gotowka was a member of the M. Romanowski Falcon Nest
