Mr. Darrell Maurice Short, 40, of 126 Victoria Drive, Ellenboro, died on Thursday, July 15, 2010. A native of Cleveland County, he was born on September 18, 1969, a son of the late Jimmy Edward Short and Bonnie Summey Tesseneer of Grover.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step father, Richard Tesseneer of Grover; one son, Mya Short; two brothers, Eddie Short of Ellenboro and Dwayne Tesseneer of Greensboro; one sister, Carol Short Arnold of Grover.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at McKinney - Landreth Funeral Home.
