Janice D. Belcher, 95, of Waco, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Fairfield Hospital. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room.

Janice was born in Hewitt, Texas, to the late Joseph and Martha Hitt. She was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Laverne Belcher; a son, Tom Belcher; two brothers; and six sisters.

She is survived by sons, Jack Belcher and wife, Jolene, of Fairfield, and Walter R. Belcher and wife, Nancy Sue, of Spring; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
